Acid Def Sea Perfecto Review

Acid Def Sea Perfecto Cigar Review

11/7/2022

First off, I'm not a fan of flavored cigars.  I've smoked a few Drew Estate cigars and some are good and some bad.  The Natural line has a few decent smokes.  I think I remember smoking a fat robusto called the Root that was really creamy anf full of puffy smoke.

This one is supposedly one of their top selling infused cigars.  Sports a Sumatra wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and fillers.  Can't be that bad.

Right away it tastes just like it smells.  To be honest, it smells like a cheap stripper trying to cover up her stank.  Not something I want near me or my mouth.

It is burning good. I've had this one stashed away for years.  I think I got it free from some kind of sampler, I don't know.  Very mild but with a weird sweet aftertaste.  Can't say I like it so far.  It does pull easily lots of smoke.

Well, it's Monday night. I'd be pretty pissedif this was my Fri night smoke.  It's too mild.  It is building more of the same infused flavors.  Can't really describe it.  To be fair, it's like a cross between coconut, cotton candy, sesame, and my wife's shampoo.  Some may like it, but it has no body. It's like smoking a flavored candle.

The wrapper did crack and unravel.  I had to luck it to keep it together. Probably a top notch wrapper, but kind of a waste.

I'm all for different flavors, but this doesn't give any satisfaction.  I think you could take this and blend it with some strong Nicaraguan tobaccos and get something decent, but why? Why fake good flavors? You can't.  This is just bad.  I'm gonna finish it.  It is smoking great  though.  Just leaves a soapy flavor in your mouth.

If you love cigars, maybe they could make this in a shampoo.  I think most would call you crazy and state that you stink, but there might be a market for it...the same market for who buys this cigar.

Sorry, this will be my last of these, even if free.  I did get some enjoyment of the smoke from it, but not the flavors or the body (if any body).

Add a ligero leaf to give some body and it might develop into something interesting.

I hate to call it a gimmick.  It delivers it's flavors, but that's it.  Not for me, for sure.

Overall: 80

Flavor 80, complexity 85, burn 86, experience 78, value 82.

How about I rate the moon a 90+ tonight:
