Alec Bradley Maxx Culture cigar review - Revisit

11/21/2022

Got a lot of these because I like them so, I'm smoking one right now.  This one starts off pretty strong with peppery earth on top of caramel.  Definitely a Nicaraguan taste and profile.  Leaves a sweet taste in your mouth.

I think I drank tequila last time.  This time, I started off with the awesome  Herradura Silver and then, because I'm cheap, switched to 2Fingers Silver, which with fresh squeezed lime ain't bad.

Can't always drink the best and the same for smoking.  The Maxx is definitely not a cheap one like 2Fingers, but you can buy this cigar for a low price if you wait and find a deal.  The Maxx ain't the best but it can hang with them and it is very satisfying.  That's what matters to me.

I'm mean, come on.  Look at the awesome burn.  I think it has 5 months age.  Probably will keep getting better.  Only got about a box and half more to find out.

I'm 45 minutes in and have been puffing it pretty hard.  Where's all the internet professionals saying it's wrong to smoke a cigar too fast? I'll let them stick to their fake reviews on YouTube with their fresh rolled free cigars tasting every flavor the first 5 minutes.

If you like a medium - full smoke that consistently delivers great flavors, then you'll like this one.  It doesn't transition much, just smooth smoking.  Puffing hard will give you strong aftertaste on your palate, but a good aftertaste.  A little molasses and charred oak with a smores like taste.  Just a tad spice.  I like this one because you can make it stronger by smoking it hard.  Isn't that a good thing?

An hout in and still a lot left.  The cheap tequila is kicking in as the body of the cigar kicks in.  Now my Tidal Phish collection is playing a slow Harry Hood.  Needs to kick in the guitar jam.  An inspiration jam, nice.

The cigar is upping it's strength and flavor.  Maybe I'll slow down.  Phish Reba is now starting to jam.  Who doesn't like guitar piano bass drum jam off?

Same great flavors but kicking up a notch.  The smooth bass with the jazzy guitar really relaxes you.  A great fire burning along with a great cigar.  Great flavors all around.  Always smooth.

Full bodied and flavored the last inch.  It's a 90+ for sure.
