This might be my 2nd smoke ever from Tatuaje. I've read good reviews and such but these are not popular and don't know much about them. Got this from a sampler many years ago. Should be aged well. 


It is supposedly all Nicaraguan with a Ecuadorian wrapper. I  think they are like $5 a piece. 


Wow, as soon as I lit it I get not one canoe but two canoes on the tip. Never had that before. I touch it up with some spit and relight it with my torch lighter and get it burning good.  Is it any good? Damn I don't know. I can't taste it yet. Seems pretty mild. 


It's now smoking good. I can start to taste a mellow and creamy , somewhat sweet taste.  Definitely a mild to medium smoke.  Basically a mild flavor with a sweet and spicy aftertaste. 


The spice heats up. Still mild but a lot spicier flavor. I guess I do like spicy cigars because I do start to like this one. 


I should complain about the cold night. Predicted to be like in the high 30s with 10mph wind. Hell, it's like 45 with no wind. With the Temu propane heater and the ceiling fan, it's warm out. 


This is a great smoke. I'd say it's a great weekday smoke. It's not strong but very full of flavor. First half has been great.  But it is burning quick, but probably average burn for a small robusto. 


Never picks up a ton of smoke but always has a good smooth flavor. Good sweet and spicy aftertaste. 


This may be the kind of smoke some old Cuban would do some hard labor work while smoking one of these never letting it leave his lips. Like dig a trench in the dirt and not take a break. Once the cigar is done, work is done. 


I'm going to shop for some more of these. 


I got an inch or so left. I'm about 45 minutes into it and I'd say it is rolled in a perfect design but could use a few continuous improvements on the unevenness burn. 


For a spicy cigar, it never gets hot, always smooth and full of flavor. It's a great little smoke.

Gurkha Castle Hall Nicaraguan Reserva Especial Toro cigar review  5/27/2023 I got these cheap.    But they've been aging for at least 6 months in my humidor.    Never been a fan of Gurkha, but I am very open minding and will smoke every cigar I have.  Starts off medium with spice, cedar, and earth.    Yep, just like most Nicaraguan smokes.    Not too bad.   Most Gurkhas taste alright the first third and turn to really terrible, but, like I said, I will honestly review any cigar.    If this one stays consistent then it is a decent smoke.   I taste a slight caramel taste, but it is burning kind of hot.    It is really windy tonight.    60 degrees out.    Windy and cool enough to start a small fire.    What's does have to do with how this is smoking? Oliva Serie V Diadema cigar review

Oliva Serie V Diadema cigar review   12/17/2022 I've had this one sitting in my humidor for over a year just waiting for me to smoke it.    This one is 7 inches long and has a beautiful Habana sun grown wrapper.    The cigar smells great.    I got this one from a sampler, which I have 2 of, so I can try it again.    It seems the Diadema has a 7 inch and a 6 inch.    This is the larger one.  I guess I should mention it is cold here in Georgia tonight. About 34 now.    I chopped a bunch of wood this afternoon just to make sure my fire was super hot.    No wind though, so won't be that bad.   I like a figuardo as it is easy to light.    Right away I'm enjoying some caramel and woodsy flavors.    As my jaw chatters and my arms shake.    Damn it's cold.    Thank God for my torch to get the fire roaring.  With the torch, only need 5 minutes and I'm feeling som...

La Aroma de Cuba Monarch cigar review 10/30/2023 This may be first times smoking one of these.    I've enjoyed a few Don Pepin Garcia smokes and admire his ability to make some great full flavored cigars.    This one is all Nicaraguan with    an oily Connecticut broadleaf wrapper.  I've had this one aging like a year so it is primed for smoking.    Can be had for like $7 when you buy a box.   It's pretty windy here in Georgia on this night before Halloween.    Cold front moving in, but about 60 out now.    Wind calming, pretty good smoking weather.   Lots of flavor at first.    Has a lot going on: spice, sweetness, fruit, dried fruit, and some cedar.    To me it is intriguing, strong, and great, but not my favorite flavors so far.    But I love a complex smoke so I like it so far. If it can develop those earthy Nicaraguan flavors, it may be a winner.  Burning damn good...
