First, I guess I need to call this a "vintage" cigar review. These smokes may be close to 10 years old. Nobody reviews old cigars. It's a real shame because,if you are a true cigar smoker, you should charish for a really old smoke that's aged to perfection. That's what I do. My average cigar is over 5 years old. It's like wine.
But, it's the digital age and you don't review something obsolete or not available. Who's going to advertise on that webpage? People want the Justin Bieber of cigars. We'll, f that. F you, if that's what you want to read. I like great smokes that are perfectly aged and I don't care what anyone else thinks. It's my Stash and I'll smoke what I think is best.
So, these are not expensive and age quite well. You can still buy them cheap and they are great.
It's a more Dominican flavored profile, more mild to medium. After 5 years, it's mild at first and medium now. Started with a mellow caramel taste. Some earthy notes. Supposed to be Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos.
Very smooth and great creamy, caramel and woodsy flavors.
It's good enough to keep me smoking here in 40 degree weather with a light rain, but big fire.
It's a churchill, but smoking fast. Has a great oak flavor. Not too complex, just great smooth woodsy and slight sweet flavors. A well aged smoke is always great.
Strengthening a little. Very smooth and mellow.
Hey,if I can sit here and smoke it In the cold rain,it must be pretty good.
Yeah, I smoked it as fast as possible and it is very satisfying. Last inch is good, I'm pulling it as hard as I can. Rain has soaked my hair. I'm starting to get cold, even with a big fire. I've smoked it to the nub and I'm glad I picked a good one tonight. I'm wet and I'm burning my finger. Last puff and it was great. Too cold and this rain is too much.
Overall: 90
Flavor 90, complexity 91, burn 91, experience 90, value 91.
