Rosa De Guadalupe Exclusivo Toro cigar review

That's right. Another AJ FERNANDEZ cigar that deserves some attention. This one features the Mexican San Andres wrapper that, lately, I'm a huge fan. If you like this flavor, try the Esteban Carreras Hellcat, Romeo San Andres, or the top notch AJ Fernandez Bellas Artes Maduro.
This one is price mid-notch at about $5 to $6 a smoke. Just smelling and looking at the wrapper, it should be nice. Enough talk, let's light her up.
It's Friday night. I had a great night. Home cooked filet mignon with a low country boil. Yes. It had 3lbs of snow crab, a lb of fresh head on shrimp, sausage, corn and potatoes. Oh yeah, I ate good tonight.
It's late now and my cigar is lit after chopping up a large piece of wood for the fire. So it just rained really hard. Everything is wet, but not the inside of my wood just split. 5 minutes later, it is burning nice and I'm starting to taste some flavors from this large Toro.
This one has a peppery taste on top of the caramel toasted marshmallow taste. Not too sweet. But definitely a caramel flavor that lingers under the pepper and cedar taste.
Not cold tonight, just wet. About 55 out. No jacket by the small fire. Great smoking weather. Cigar is burning perfect without need of any touch up. I think I have a few months of age on this one.
Pretty consistent so far. Palate already filled with pepper, cedar, caramel, and now adding toasted graham cracker. I was drinking my normal Friday night 4 Rose bourbon. Goes very nice. I recommend. Was planning to take another shot when the first ash dropped...but I have an inch and a half and about 15 minutes in. Definitely a top notch cigar all around. Can I recommend some music to go with it? Well, Jerry Garcia / Merl Saunders La La goes perfect. Smooth jazz and a very smooth medium cigar hits the spot.
It's a great cigar. Not super complex, not changing flavor too much, but building in flavor and intensity. It's a damn fine smoke. Pretty similar to the other San Andres AJ Fernandez Bellas Artes, which is now one of my favorites. This one is slightly milder, but a little more pepper. Both are great. Need to smoke more of both to really evaluate the differences.
This is a long smoke. Will have add some wood to the fire. Not cold out, but need to dry up from this wet night. 30 to 40 minutes in and only half way done.
Starting to strengthen with more Nicaraguan tobacco profile. More earthy flavors now. I'm definitely feeling it now. Still smooth and great flavor. Right now it is all the flavors combined in each puff.
It's full bodied now. Jerry and Merl playing My Funny Valentine makes this cigar so smooth and flavorful. Full palate of cedar, pepper, earth, and slight sweetness. Can't get much better.
I don't want this one to end. Finishing strong and tons of flavor. Lots of pepper. And I'm super relaxed. A great finish. A good hour plus and more to give. Never hot and smooth to the nub.
This cigar is all that. All about satisfaction.
Overall: 93
Flavor 94, complexity 93, burn 94, experience 94, value 92.
