Alec Bradley Prensado Corona Gorda cigar review

I've had 3 of these in my humidor for about a year now and I am finally my first one. I have been an Alec Bradley fan for a long time. This is supposed to be one of the best.
Corojo wrapper from Honduras with the rest Nicaraguan and Honduran.
This is a smaller cigar than I normally prefer. Bigger than a corona but smaller than a robusto.
First inch starts pretty mild with some nuttiness and slight caramel taste. Pretty quickly changes to a stronger profile with some red pepper spice. Very smooth but leaves nice flavors of caramel, nuts, and spiciness lingering on your palate.
I do have to touch it up with my lighter, but no big deal.
I've smoked about a third and it's smoking about the right speed, maybe 15 min. Good full draws and always smooth.
Picking up some deeper tobacco flavors. Kind of like dried fruit and licorice. Not overpowering, just enough flavors on your tongue to keep it smooth and satisfying.
Yeah, it's a great tasting cigar and it just keeps building flavors. It ain't cheap, about $9 a stick if you buy a box. I think it's worth it.
So far, medium to full, but very complex and has strengthened throughout. Definitely a cigar to relax and enjoy. It's a late Friday night and I'm glad I choose this one. It's just right for a relaxing smoke after a long hard day.
I've been drinking a mix of liquors. I think this one would go with anything. My shots of tequila, rum, and gin have all brought out a slight sweet flavor. The smoothness and aftertaste lingering on your palate is what is so good about this cigar.
It's not cold out tonight, but why not have a small fire to help with the ambience.
The flavors just keep on coming. I'm tasting cedar and sweet nuttiness with slight spice. I guess like cashews with pepper.
I getting down to the last third after 40 min. I've found all of the AB smokes good, but now understand why this one is priced higher. It just delivers such good flavors and it has the complexity and delivers enough strength along the way to fully relax and satisfy you.
Has a slight bite at the last inch, but still excellent. I really want to try a larger version. Is it box worthy? Probably yes. But I prefer a larger smoke. If the flavors are same and just as smooth, I'm betting it will be even better.
A little harsh at the end. I mean, it is a corona, so let's be real. It has done everything a small cigar can do.
This little smoke has kept me satisfied for almost an hour. That's really hard to do.
Definitely a great smoke all the way.
Overall: 93
Flavor 93, complexity 94, burn 92, experience 94, value 92.
